The idea of Hire-Ability started in 1997 when my Executive Director at RAMS, Inc. took me aside and said she learned that I had experience running a vocational program for people with mental health diagnosis. I did. I directed a program called Phoenix Enterprises when I was in my twenties. In 1998 the program started. Hire-Ability has grown to serve hundreds and continues until today.
